After hearing the Fibers department was being eliminated from UNT, I responded by creating a work that uses textile language to make the piece. You see, I took some fibers classes while I was getting my MFA and they had a huge impact on my thinking. Even though my process is different, the department was strong on help me flush out my work conceptually.
